​The Pheasant Country Banquet is where you should spend the Friday evening prior to opening day of Pheasant Season in South Dakota. Enjoy an evening with pheasant hunters from all over the United States and Canada in the World's Only Corn Palace. You will enjoy the atmosphere of the decorated Corn Palace and the fellowship with hunters from all professions.
Mitchell is home to some of the very best pheasant hunting in the United States and your support of Pheasant Country will make pheasant hunting even more enjoyable.
The banquet is always held at the Corn Palace on the Friday evening before opening day of pheasant hunting.  Doors open at 5:00 pm with dinner being served at 7:30 pm.  Live music, raffle tables and games will keep you entertained before the auction begins.  ​The live auction follows dinner and the event will conclude by 10:00 pm.
